So it’s been a while since we have been able to get to the news…..
Found some shots of a car that pulled in for alignment.

Matt Johnson from Yokohama trailered over this sweet thang for an alignment. Yes… that goofy guy sitting in the Cobra is Matt. We’ve known this guys for a long time, and he’s always been bringing his work here. We appreciate it!

With a closer look… WORK VS-XX!!! 19×9.5 20×10 wrapped in Yokohama S.Drive 245/40R19F 275/35r20.
Those are some damn big wheels for that big ass! (I meant Matt’s)

Our last Drift Event of the year is All Star Bash V held at Willow Springs. 2 Days of crazy nonstop drifting and partying (winter vers.) has come to past as our last drift support event of 2008. Here are some pics from the infamous HTM (Horse Thief Mile).

Ines and Sandy enjoy breakfast as the drivers start to roll in wheels for us to mount tires on. It was a pretty busy day for us, considering the lesser than normal turnout for this event.

Flybert pulls up in a…. Bimmer? His long awaited project is still underway, but rest assure it’ll be one hell of a build. So for this ASB he decided to get loose on Sat night. From what I heard he was pretty wasted off of the last Everclear shots. Jack as usual was being an ass and screaming in his ear the following morning. LOL!

After tormenting Flybert for several minutes, Jack got hungry. BIG Thanks to Charlie for hooking up the Fried Chicken. CTO Approved! Is it me or does Charlie look like the Federal mascot on the side of his car?

Thanks to JustDrift for a great venue for CTO to spread its wings. And a special thanks to all the drivers that attended the JD events in 2008. Next year we have big plans. Let’s kill it in 2009!

LA Auto Show week and we had a surprise visitor. The New (even though.. not looking new) Nissan 350Z. Carl likes to write on cars like this.. “I wish my girl was this dirty”

Shorter wheel base, more power, and lighter, the looks may not be capturing but nonetheless a fun car to drive. Automatic? EW? No! This thing responds well for an auto. If you downshift, it WILL hit the rev limiter.. Auto tranny with tude!

Driver’s console looks much better. Steering will a lot nicer. Other than the lights, I don’t have too much to complain about… but yea, the lights might deter me and several others from buying the 370Z. Even though this would be a great drift project to build.. I heard there is a possibility of seeing one of these in Formula D next year. Hushhhhhhh!

Jack Hsu just joined CTO! He’s been working hard so far. For 2009, City Tire has a lot planned out. We need more help and support than we ever did. Thanks Jack for joining us!
